Do I need exercise experience to train with Ben-E-Fit?
No experience is necessary to start training! Whether you're a newcomer looking to develop a fitness routine for the first time or a seasoned gym goer who wants to improve your strength and skills, Ben-E-Fit trainers will meet you where you're at and work with you at your pace while giving you the push you need to make progress.
Where do we meet?
Ben-E-Fit Training is primarily a virtual training company. We will meet on Zoom, FaceTime, or Skype. If you are in the Philadelphia/tri-state area we may be able toarrange in-person training sessions for 60 minutes or longer.
Why are we meeting online?
Training online allows me to reach more people! and there is nowhere you can feel more at ease than in your own home. Learning to move your body can be vulnerable experience, and we want to make your training experience as mentally comfortable as possible. Plus training online allows us to keep our schedules more flexible and our sessions more affordable since there aren't costs associated with travel time!
Do you make house calls?
Yes! While our range is limited to the Philadelphia/Tri-state area for the time being, we will happily come to you with all of the equipment we can carry!
All in-home appointments must be an hour or more and pricing may be adjusted for sessions that require more than 20 minutes of travel time each way.
Do you have a bricks and mortar location?
Not yet! Ben-E-Fit is run with the lowest possible overhead to keep our quality high, our prices low and our private sessions private.
One day we may have a physical space in the real world, maybe even a whole chain of them! In the meantime, we make house calls to select areas!
How are you different from a regular gym trainer?
I am uniquely invested in my clients. Most online training apps over-encumber their skilled trainers with too many clients.
Instead of seeing Twenty clients in a day, I will see no more than seven or eight clients in a day to ensure that you and me trainer can get the most out of your time together.
With attentive focus working in the comfort of your own home, you'll be surprised what we can accomplish.
What kinds of training do you offer?
A little bit of just about everything. We are not going to get you stage ready for the Arnold Classic bodybuilding show and we are certainly not going to make you compete at the Crossfit games but, any discipline has a place in every routine. We will cherry pick the best movements from all styles of fitness, creating a collage of wellness tactics to match your life's unique tapestry and your body's needs. We want you to be best friends with your body. Let's try some stuff out and see what you love.
What types of home fitness equipment do you recommend?
It all depends on your goals and budget but we recommend everyone has a yoga mat, some foam blocks, a foam roller and some free weights or kettlebells. These are by no means requisite to get started, however.
Overtime we will build your home gym space into something that fits your home and budget.
How often do we train?
Sessions can be 30, 60, or 90 minutes anywhere from 1 to 5 days per week. While we strongly encourage training at least once a week for the best results, special accommodations can be made based on your availability.
